Why am i staying the same weight? - Health, Fitness, and Sports

Hello,

I am 20 year old, male and i am 5.8 foot and weigh 132 pounds/62 kilos. I mostly only eat my midday meal and supper, even though i am nearly underweight i am still cautious of gaining weight. i avoid candy like the plague and some days i eat something after supper, most of the time a grilled cheese toasty as it is my favorite. a month or two ago i ate that quite a few days in a row and ate the occasional candy aswell. I was sure that i would gain weight after that but it stayed at 132 pounds/62 kilos. So i had a nice thing to eat in the evening and could even eat the occasional candy again and i would not gain weight.

But recently i am scared of gaining more weight so i haven't ate anything besides midday meal and supper for a month, strangely enough i am still 62 kilos. I don't understand why. Why does eating grilled cheese every evening make me not gain weight? Why does candy not make me gain weight? I'm still really rough on myself with food right now and hardly allow myself anything but if eating occasionally will not affect me i think i am missing out.
